I'm a bit biased because I know the guys at MetalSucks.net and do a lot of work with them now. I think they're gregarious, hilarious gentlemen.

Whose sites do you read every day and why?

If you're an avid show goer, you know its no secret some weird shit happens in the pit.  Well guess what - we want to know about it. The anecdote from one of you guys that induces the most laughter, shock, vomit, etc. out of the Roadrunner office wins MAYHEM TICKETS and a chance to hang with one of our featured artists! What are your top 5 favorite guitar solos on Roadrunner Records?

We've produced an awful lot of videos in nearly 30 years. I know tons of you out there are huge catalogs of Roadrunner history. So what, in your opinion, are the top 5 Roadrunner videos of all time?

Metal folks are a smart, diverse group of people, right? So when I saw this Blabbermouth post, I couldn't resist. Which vocalists do you think would work in a Broadway musical and which musical would it be? Personally I think Sanguine Mapsama from Averse Sefira would do well as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables.

Let's face it, some of our younger metal fans out there need an education. That's one of the reasons why we're releasing three Best Of compilations at the end of the month: Spineshank, Suffocation, and Obituary. I know there are tons of you out there with the knowledge out there, so let us know which band you think is the best and why.

Roadrunner staff and artists (from Opeth to DevilDriver) posted their Top Ten albums of 2007 at the end of last week. What do you think of the lists?

So we're coming up on the third anniversary of the murder of Dimebag Darrell as well as Nathan Bray, Erin Halk, Jeff Thompson, and the death of the murderer himself, Nathan Gale.

There are so many ways this has had an effect, not only for the families of the victims and the perpetrator, but for the metal scene, music in general, concert-going in particular, even songwriting (see Machine Head's "Aesthetics of Hate"). Share your thoughts with us. 

What counts for real metal today?

We get a lot of commentary on our Headbangers Ball video line up posts each week. Just look at this one. We're definitely fans of the HBB and read the Headbangers Blog quite regularly.

Since we get a lot of discussion about it each week, I thought we could open up the forum for all you HBB commenters. Let us know what you think of the program, what you'd like to see played, or just your general comments on it.

And just a reminder: we don't run Headbangers Ball. They graciously play our videos. Some people seem confused about this.

We've thrown a lot of what we thought you'd like on the site including photo submissions, photo ratings, more RSS feeds, the Roadrunner Toolbar, the Tour Grommit, video access right on the front page, and more free MP3s.

But we want to do more to make this site and In the Pit what you want. Here's your chance to let us know what kinds of things you'd like to see, from employee blogs, to streaming band info with videos, Facebook apps, or anything else your imagination can come up with. Go wild. 

Just saw Machine Head on Saturday night (they burned the place down) and was impressed by Arch Enemy's show. So, I'd like to know which female-fronted metal band you think makes the best music?

The Summer season, season of touring, beaches, and frolicking, is coming to a close. Pretty soon Fall's going to be headbutting the crap out of all of us. What's the best thing that happened to you this Summer?

Blabbermouth reports that two people died at yesterday's Ozzfest at New Jersey's PNC Bank Arts Center. What do you think this means for what some consider the metal tour?

Last week I wanted to know about your best Ozzfest experiences, so of course the discussion devolved into calling each other gay and arguing about whose music was the more limp-wristed. Keep up the good work, guys.

Since I was too sick to get out of bed Saturday and get my ass to the local date of Warped Tour to see Killswitch Engage, Still Remains, and Biffy Clyro, I want to know what it was like for the rest of you across the country. Tell me your best Warped stories.

I hear tell that fans heading out to Ozzfest are actually checking out bands other than Ozzy this year. Since we've got 3 Inches of Blood, Daath, DevilDriver (yes it's true), and Hatebreed out there, I'm sure plenty of you have been out to see 'em.
